Plot: Ni Qiu is a lonely third grader. Shunned at school, fearful of ridicule, when the Annual Father's Career Day comes to her school...Story: Ni Qiu is a lonely third grader. Shunned at school, fearful of ridicule, when the Annual Father's Career Day comes to her school, she tells a little white lie and claims that Fan Zi, an aging but still well-known rock star, is her father in order to gain acceptance from her peers. She presents a fake electronic photo of her hard-working single mom, Xiao Feng, an ex-dancer who yearns to dance again, and Fan Zi as proof and promises to bring him to school to perform. What's done is done, so Xiao Feng has no choice but to look for Fan Zi, hoping to borrow him for a few hours to be her daughter's "Dad" at school. Can Xiao Feng find Fan Zi in a sea of people? Even if she can, will Fan Zi agree to come out of obscurity to help a lonely little girl he doesn't even know? What happens because of Ni Qiu's wonderful and simple heart is that two strangers meet, creating a special family that no one ever could have ever planned on.
